What it actually is

A conversation with the subtle rhythms of your body.

Biodynamic Craniosacral works with the subtle rhythms of your body — the fluids in your body, the connective tissue that holds everything together, the places where your body has learned to brace, guard, or compensate. I work with your whole system. It is gentle. It is slow. And it goes deeper than it looks.

The work draws on the principle of biotensegrity — the idea that your body is not a collection of separate parts stacked on top of each other, but one continuous, interconnected system. When one part of that system is holding tension, everything around it adjusts. Biodynamic Craniosacral helps the whole system find its way back to balance.

How your nervous system moves

Always finding its rhythm.

Your nervous system is always shifting — reading the moment and moving you into whatever state it asks for. Your sympathetic nervous system is the one that gets you going — it plays soccer, meets deadlines, responds to stress, and keeps you moving through hard things. Your parasympathetic nervous system is the one that lets you rest — it digests your food, repairs your tissue, and lets you finally sleep.

A regulated nervous system moves fluidly between these states. But when life has been a lot — when pain has been ongoing, or stress has been relentless, or something hard has happened — the body can get stuck. Sessions work with that rhythm, gently and without force, using a process called titration — meeting your system where it is, in small enough amounts that it can actually integrate and shift.

There's another piece to it — the part of you that makes safe connection with another person possible, and often the part that tends to get the most depleted. That's a bigger conversation than this page can hold. The nervous system page goes deeper.

What a session looks like

Each session is booked as a one-hour block of time — and that hour is entirely yours.

i.
Before the table

We may begin with 15 to 20 minutes together — talking about what's been happening in your body, what you're noticing, what you're hoping for. It matters.

ii.
On the table

About 30 minutes. Please wear something comfortable. You lie on a padded table and simply be. You may cry, or laugh. You may fall asleep, or you may talk the entire session. Everything is allowed here. There's no right way to be.

iii.
Time to land

We close with time to come back into the room — to share what you noticed, to let what just happened begin to settle. And when you leave, the work isn't finished. Your system continues to integrate long after the session ends — a night of deeper sleep, something that loosens without being asked, a clarity that arrives quietly.

Here, you're noticed — not fixed.

Phone sessions

Held, even from a distance.

Distance Craniosacral is real and effective. You do not need to be in the same room to receive this work. If in-person isn't accessible for you, phone sessions offer the same quality of presence and attention from wherever you are. You will still want to be somewhere comfortable and quiet where you can lie down for the session.

Before we meet

A soft beginning.

Before your first session, I'll ask you to complete a short intake form and review the client agreement. They're brief on purpose — just enough to begin well and make sure you're cared for from the start.

When you're ready.

Or, start with a conversation. A free 15-minute call — no pitch, just a chance to ask what you're wondering and see if this feels right.
